I took my kids to Belize. I spend what seems like a lifetime persuading them to put on masks and fins anf JUMP INTO THE OPEN OCEAN WITH SHARKS. Everything will be ok, I say. These guys (indicating isalnd boaters) will take care of us. It’s all cool. We’re finally swimming instead of flailing and I look up and the boat is leaving. It’s GOING AWAY. It’s leaving us IN THE OPEN OCEAN WITH SHARKS. THey finally heard our screams, saw our waving arms, and remembered my wife is a lawyer and swung back to get us. But the kids? They’re not gonna snorkel soon.
