Our 5 year old has a weekly pizza night on Thursday, my longer commute day. It’s sad when Papa John’s knows me (and him) by name. They remember the small cheese with no sauce very well!

Let them choose. My daughter is not old enough yet. But she’s getting picky. Thanks, I’m gonna use that!

Peanut butter and jelly are a favorite….throw a few grapes and string cheese and voila!

I rely too much on McDonald’s. Usually, it’s reserved for a night Scout has a basketball game or on Sunday for lunch after church…if they behave themselves. Hey, I got them to church, right?

We don’t keep froot loops in the house. I don’t buy any cereal that is more than 33% sugar, by weight.

When we were growing up my mother would make apple fritters for dinner one Friday night during Lent. Usually a night my father planned to be home late, because apple fritters were not dinner, in his book.

When I would baby sit my little sister all she ever wanted was ketchup sandwhiches. Just two pieces of bread and ketchup. . .
