the dragon food cart looks amazing – glad you got to try it. the beverage too sounds really good. i’m not sure the deep fried mars bar and oreos are a better bet than those little donuts – i don’t think you can beat that.

Your before and after pictures are a familiar sight. A couple of months ago, we switched to the power mat as well. We opted for the travel version for home base, and then just pack it up when we travel. Between my husband, my daughter, and I, we have two iphones and two blackberries, and it makes for much simpler travel to just grab the mat and adapters as opposed to a handful of power cords.

With my blackberry, I have the cordless adapter which makes the phone a little bulkier (replaces the battery pack) but I really don’t mind. The only drawback to the cordless adapter is that it doesn’t always connect with a charge immediately when setting it on the mat – I often have to pick it up and set it down a couple of times until I hear the connection pick up. It may be just be a bad part. We’re going to try the cordless adapter for one of the iphones here shortly, so we’ll see.

But overall, I agree – it was a good purchase. We just bought one for the in-laws.
