Do you know all those obnoxious photos with big captions, aka memes, that are all the rage on Facebook and Pinterest today? I found a cool iPhone app to make my own. I promise not to post a lot of these, but I couldn’t resist with this scene outside our front door this morning.

Another Bumbo Recall
Five years ago, in what was probably the most viewed SuburbanDaddy post of all time, I wrote about a recall by Bumbo, a type child seat that we used with all the Things.
It seems Bumbo is still having recall troubles, with another recall issued today. I happen to think Bumbo is a pretty good product. But, like a lot of children’s products, it requires some extra care, supervision, and common sense.

New Project
Because I have so much free time, I’ve taken on a new web project. It’s one of the reasons blog entries have been sparse the last few months. It’s called Kidburst and the idea is to help parents find local activities for their kids. Right now we’re mainly in Northern Virginia but hoping to expand to other places (maybe with your help).
